PRODUCT INFORMATION
INSTANT CANOPY / INSTANT SHELTER:
Read this information before proceeding. It is the user’s responsibility to always take the following precautions.
- This product is designed as a temporary sun canopy. Do not leave up for extended periods.
- Always stake or weigh down your canopy. Do not use in any potentially windy or rainy weather. Wind and rain can damage your canopy and may also result in injury to you or others. Therefore, do not rely on canopy for protection in heavy or prolonged rainstorms.
- Use caution when handling the canopy’s frame. Avoid pinching hands or fingers as frame opens or closes.
- Do NOT use canopy in a lightning storm.
- Do NOT leave your canopy unattended.
- Do NOT build fires under canopy.
THE SHADE - UMBRELLA:
- Close and store the umbrella in windy conditions or when a storm approaches. Never allow the umbrella to flap in the wind; this could damage the canopy. If damage occurs, this is NOT covered by the warranty.
- Do NOT leave open umbrella unattended. If damage occurs, this is not covered by the warranty.
- When adjusting the umbrella, make sure that no person(s) or item(s) are close to the umbrella. This is important to prevent injury or material damage.
THE SHADE – GAZEBO:
- The gazebo must be positioned and fixed on a flat level surface. Do NOT assemble the gazebo on sandy, muddy, or loose soil.
- Do NOT touch overhead power lines with the frame.
- Do NOT attempt to assemble the gazebo in windy or wet conditions.
- Hot items such as recently used grills, must not be stored under the gazebo.
- Do NOT light any fires under or near the gazebo.
- Do NOT affix any weights to the roof frame or the roof hook.
- Always ensure that the fabric cover is properly tensioned, avoid any water collecting on the fabric cover.
- Remove accumulated water from the fabric top immediately to avoid any damage.
PRODUCT CARE AND MAINTENANCE
INSTANT CANOPY / INSTANT SHELTER:
For long lasting durability and the best possible protection for your canopy, follow these care & maintenance instructions:
- Use a mild soap (not detergent) and plenty of water for top cleaning.
- Let the canopy top and frame dry completely before closing or storing to avoid mildew.
- The canopy frame will operate and look better if occasionally wiped with silicone spray, especially before and after use in damp conditions. Remove excess silicone residue before attaching top.
- Slightly tighten bolts if frame becomes loose.
THE SHADE - UMBRELLA:
- When not in use, close and cover the umbrella with a protective cover (not included).
- Allow a wet canopy to dry while in open position, but do not leave unattended.
- If necessary, clean the fabric with lukewarm water, mild detergent, and a sponge.
- Wipe sliding marks on the aluminum poles with a damp cloth.
Winter Storage: Store in a dry place.
After the Winter: Check the condition and function of the umbrella.
THE SHADE – GAZEBO:
- Dismantle the gazebo in reverse order of the setup. Always dismantle the gazebo completely.
- Do NOT store poles and stakes with any fabric as they may damage it.
- Wash with soap and water and allow to completely dry prior to storage.
- Before storing, please make sure that your gazebo is completely dry and clean. Fold the material carefully along the seams.
- Store the gazebo in a dry place and a place that is out of reach of children.
Winter Prep: If you will not completely disassemble the gazebo, we strongly recommend that you remove the fabric top and store it in a cool dry setting.
SHIPPING & HANDLING
Orders placed will ship within 2-4 business days. Please account for transit times from Southern California based on the chosen destination of delivery.
Z-Shade Co. LTD cannot be held responsible for meeting a specific delivery. Customers who are concerned about meeting a specific delivery date should select an express delivery option; (1 Day Air), (2 Day Air), (3 Day). Please be sure to include our standard shipping lead time of 2-4 business days in addition to the transit times of the shipment.
Shipping your order with Ground Home Delivery will take the longest to arrive but is the lowest cost option. The fastest and most expensive option is (1 Day Air). All shipping and handling fees are based upon weight, dimensions, and shipping destinations, so the further away you are from our warehouse in Southern California and the heavier or longer your package(s) are, the more you will pay for shipping and handling. The rates we quote for shipping and handling are valid for most orders. However, for very large orders (such as pallet quantities), the stated shipping and handling fees may be inadequate, in which case, we reserve the right to modify the shipping and handling fees. We will contact you before making any changes to your order.
We can only deliver to physical (non-PO Box) United States addresses.

RETURNS
RETURN, REFUND AND EXCHANGE POLICY
You may return or exchange any item purchased on www.zshadeusa.com within 30 days of delivery date. Please note that there is a restocking fee of 10%.
Requests after 30 days of merchandise receipt, or consumer error when ordering online will not be honored. Customers are required to pay all shipping costs for returns and exchanges. Refunds will only be granted for merchandise that is unused, unopened and in original packaging.
RETURN, REFUND AND EXCHANGE PROCESS
To qualify for a return or exchange, merchandise must be new and in its original condition, including packaging, accessories, manuals, etc., You must first contact our customer service department by email info@zshadeusa.com to request a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA), be sure to include your Order ID. If approved, you will receive an RMA number along with detailed instructions on how to return your merchandise. Z-Shade Co. Ltd. will not honor returns without an RMA number.
Returned or exchanged merchandise must be received by Z-Shade Co. Ltd within 15 days of RMA issue date. We suggest that you return merchandise using a courier with tracking capabilities, such as UPS or FedEx. The customer is responsible for all charges related to return shipments.
Please allow 5-10 business days to process returns and exchanges upon receipt. All returns and exchanges must be inspected by our quality control division before a credit can be issued. If the merchandise does not pass inspection, the merchandise will be shipped back to the customer without issuance of a credit, and the customer will incur all shipping costs. If merchandise does pass inspection, we will reimburse the credit card used to make the original purchase for the following: Original purchase price of the item(s), less the original shipping cost, and less a 10% restocking fee.
WARRANTY
INSTANT CANOPY / INSTANT SHELTER:
Z-Shade Co. Ltd., manufacturer of the product, warrants to the original purchaser who provides a dated sales receipt from an Authorized Dealer, each part of the Z-Shade product to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of one (1) to two (2) years after the date of original purchase. To confirm if you have a one (1) to two (2) year warranty, please refer to your owner’s manual. The frame is covered under this limited warranty and guarantees the frame to be free from defects in material or workmanship during the specified time noted in the user manual. This warranty applies only for normal and expected uses, as determined by the manufacturer.
Z-Shade Co. Ltd. obligation and liability under this warranty is limited to the replacement of the product or its parts, after a review and examination of a submitted warranty claim. Do not dispose of the shelter or any part of a shelter while claim is under review. Warranty Claim Form can be downloaded from our website: www.zshadeusa.com
ACCESSORIES:
Z-Shade Co., Ltd. warrants all accessories to be free from defects in materials and/or workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days.
Please do not send any product to Z-Shade without prior written authorization.

CONDITIONS: This warranty shall be void as to any product which has been altered or modified in any manner. This warranty does not apply to damages caused by wind, rain, or other forces of nature, not to accidental or deliberate damage of the product, nor to use of the product that does not conform with the product instructions.
This warranty is provided in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied.

Guarantee: The Shade products being used in residential use and applications only are guaranteed to be free from defects in original material and workmanship. Note: The Shade items are not warranted for commercial applications.
Limited Warranty (Frames and Accessories): One (1) year Includes: Frame, ribs, finial, tilt, cord, crank handle, housing, canopy, and rib pocket seams. If a defect in the original material or workmanship appears during the warranty period; The Shade will (at its option) replace the product or parts without charge. Fabric Limited Warranty: The following fabrics have a limited warranty against fading for: 3 months – Polyester. The Limited Warranty only applies to The Shade product purchased directly from The Shade or an authorized The Shade retail Dealer, as defined in our Terms and Conditions; the Limited Warranty is not transferable. Should the Purchaser or Owner sell The Shade product to another party, the warranty will not transfer to the new owner.
What Is NOT Covered: Failure caused by unreasonable or abusive use, or failure caused by neglect of reasonable and necessary care are not covered by this warranty. Additionally, acts of nature (including but not limited to wind, hurricanes, tornadoes, and storms) are not covered by this warranty. This warranty covers return freight of any warranted product only for the first year. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which vary from state to state. Closeout and promotional items sold by the dealer as is, are not covered by this warranty.
Wind Damage: The Shade highly recommends that no umbrella, regardless of size or weight, ever be left unattended in the open position. In windy conditions, it is further recommended that umbrellas be closed, removed from their base, and stored, or laid horizontally. This will reduce the risk of damage to your umbrella, furniture, and other belongings or property. To ensure stability of your umbrella, please observe proper placement, and use sufficient weight (base).
Irregularities in Production Process: The possibility of “Irregularities” in the product surface may occur during the production process. However, these irregularities do not reduce the quality of the product. The Shade monitors every stage of production to ensure a clean and consistent appearance on every part.
Rust: Rust is a natural part of the aging process of all Steel or Iron based materials and is therefore NOT considered a defect. The Shade bases are designed to require minimum maintenance. Bases should be kept clean. Do not let dirt build up on the bases. Cleaning with mild soap and water, and seasonal touch-up of any scratches, chips or occasional rust seepage from crevices or hidden, un-finish able surfaces inherent in some designs is all that is required. Never leave bases standing in water. To keep your bases looking their best, you may wish to store them when not in use for an extended period of time.
Seaside and Indoor Pool Usage: CAUTION: Seaside and inside pool use, salt & chlorides can accumulate on the powder coat finish, leading to finish failure. Failure or neglect to make needed cleanings may cause paint to blister, and such failure will void limited warranty. This warranty is provided in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied.
