About Z-Shade USA

OUR HISTORY

Since 2000, Z-Shade has been manufacturing instant canopies in a variety of sizes and colors. In 2014 we created our own line of Instant Canopies and have produced canopies for such customers as Academy Sports + Outdoors, Sam’s Club & Lowe’s, just to name a few. Located in Baldwin Park, California we are joined by globally recognized brands such as Treasure Garden, Shademaker, SimplyShade, Hoyland Fox and Spettman.

COMMITMENT

Z-Shade Co. Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Activa Leisure Group, the world’s leading manufacturer of shade products. Having a global workforce of over 6,000 employees sharing the same vision for quality, service, and commitment to excellence, has resulted in Activa Leisure Group becoming the worldwide leader in manufactured shade products.

MANUFACTURING

Unlike other manufacturers, Z-Shade is a Vertically Integrated Manufacturer, allowing a more balanced workflow along with the flexibility to respond to market demands. We manufacture and produce over 90% of the components used in our products from their raw state, giving us the advantage of monitoring every stage of the manufacturing process. With over 250 quality control, research, and development employees, we can produce consistent quality products with one of the lowest defective rates in the industry.

INNOVATION

Z-Shade strives to be an industry leader through innovative product design and state of the art manufacturing processes. We hold numerous design patents that are integrated into our line of Instant Canopies.

SUSTAINABILITY

We strive to reduce our carbon footprint by reducing energy use and utilizing sources of renewable energy wherever possible in our supply chain. The use of recycled materials as well as sourcing recyclable materials throughout our manufacturing process, helps us contribute to a circular system that sustains our planet. Beginning in 2024, we are increasing our adoption of sustainable/green chemistry by eliminating all PFAS chemicals from our product line, thereby further reducing the risk that hazardous chemicals pose to our workers, consumers, and the environment.
